As part of our VET Student Loans approved diploma, you will complete your Instrument Rating Theory Exam (IREX) and delivered the training to prepare you to sit your CASA fight tests for your Multi Engine Class Rating (MEA) as well as your Multi Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR).

Many organisations who are looking at taking on new pilots will consider someone with a MEIR before an applicant without, this training is something you should add to your resume.

I’m a Private Pilot

TVSA have created a unique PPL entry point in to our AVI50415 Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating) to help Private Pilots progress to gaining their Commercial Pilot Licence while attaining their Multi Engine Endorsement and Instrument Rating along the way.

As part of this course, you will build your required cross country solo hours, complete your Instrument Rating Theory Exam (IREX) and receive the training to prepare you to sit your CASA flight tests for your Multi Engine Class Rating (MEA) as well as your Multi Engine Instrument Rating (MEIR). In addition to this you will also complete 4 out of the 7 commercial theory subjects.

I’m a Commercial Pilot

If you are dreaming of the airlines, an Instrument Rating is a must. Our AVI50415 Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating) has been specially designed for
current pilots who have completed a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL).

In as little as 13 weeks, you can attain your Multi Engine Class Rating, Multi Engine Instrument Rating and complete your IREX Theory.

With an addition of over 50 hour to your total flight time, this course will help you enter the workforce on the front foot. The ratings and skills gained throughout this course will arm you with experience some other candidates will not have.
