AVI50510 – Diploma of Aviation (Flight Instructor)

The course includes the underpinning skills required to support learning at the AQTF Level 5 (Diploma), as well as meeting all Civil Aviation Safety Authority’s (CASA) licensing and regulations applicable to obtaining an AVI50510 Diploma of Aviation (Flight Instructor) and a TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

For many Commercial Pilots, a great way to build your experience and flying hours is to teach others how to fly. Our AVI50510 Diploma of Aviation (Flight Instructor) exceeds the Part 61 MOS requirements by including 20 mutual flight training hours and a spin endorsement in the Super Decathlon. Our course is a dual qualification including the TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment as part of our course structure.

At the end of the course, you will have completed a total of 50 hours of flight training, your Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, as well as compiling many briefs for your portfolio.

At TVSA, we are always on the look out for casual Instructors and we would normally regard those who have trained with us in high esteem.
