Private Pilot Licence Aeroplane (PPLA)

Description

The PPLA allows you to pilot an aircraft anywhere in Australia in the single engine class. It allows you to carry passengers and includes your Navigation and Controlled Airspace Endorsement. The PPLA allows you more flexibility than the RPL and is the step you would take if you intend moving onto the CPLA.

Pre-Requisites

  • Minimum 17 years of age at the completion of your licence
  • Pass the PPLA Theory component
  • Hold or ability to hold a Class 2 Medical
  • Ability to hold an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card)
