TVSA Pilot Training have designed an efficient program for people whose dream it is to become an airline pilot. Starting with your ab-initio training, our program will take you through 3 phases to help you become a Commercial Airline Pilot. With a combined training plan of aviation theory, flight briefing and practical flights, you will get a well rounded knowledge base for you to build a career on.

Our newly designed program will take you from a fresh faced student pilot through to a confident pilot with 150+ hours under your belt as well as:

  • Commercial Pilot Licence
  • Multi Engine Rating
  • Instrument Flight Rating

Program Phases

Commercial Flight Training

Though both ground theory and flying assessments, completion of this phase, cadets achieve:

  • Commercial Pilot Licence

Minimum Duration: 52 weeks

150 hours Flying Training:

  • 80 hours single engine dual
  • 70 hours single engine solo

5 hours Simulator Training:

  • 5 hours in accredited simulator

Delivery

  • Ground theory – this involves CASA endorsed fight instructor led institution based classroom delivery, workshops, seminars, tutorials and case studies.
  • Required Commercial Pilot theory subjects.
  • Practical In-Flight Training.
  • Flight Simulation.
  • Briefings.

Multi Engine and Instrument Flight Training

Though both ground theory and flying assessments, completion of this phase, cadets achieve:

  • IREX Theory Course
  • Multi Engine Rating
  • Instrument Flight Rating

Minimum Duration: 13 weeks

45.5 hours Flying Training:

  • 10 hours single engine dual
  • 1 hour single engine solo
  • 23.5 hours multi engine dual

20 hours Simulator Training:

  • 20 hours in accredited simulator

Delivery

  • Ground theory – this involves CASA endorsed fight instructor led institution based classroom delivery, workshops, seminars, tutorials and case studies.
  • IREX Theory Course
  • Practical In-Flight Training.
  • Flight Simulation.
  • Briefings.

Workplace Integration

During this phase students will receive training through workplace teaching, as well as, ground theory and flying assessments. This phase is similar to an internship and will give students work experience and flying hours to add to their resume and kick start their careers.

Minimum Duration: 36 weeks

TVSA Pilot Training offers a complete range of flight training. From beginner courses, which will take you to Solo standard, through to your Commercial Pilot Licence, Instructor Rating and Instrument Rating training.
