Company
TVSA Pilot Training is registered to take International students (CRICOS No 02045D) and is dedicated to training pilots for a challenging and satisfying career in aviation.
TVSA has been training Airline pilots for over 25 years and has trained many pilots who are now flying for airlines such as, CATHAY, QANTAS, VIRGIN, JETSTAR, DRAGON AIR, SINGAPORE, a number of local airlines, and the Royal Australian Airforce.
We are an Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority approved school (AOC No 225252-07) and an Education Department Registered Training Organisation (No 7006).
Location
Our school is located at the Bacchus Marsh Airfield, Melbourne, the capital of Victoria, Australia.
Here you are able to train in a relaxed uncluttered environment, close to major airports and controlled airspace.
The uncluttered environment allows you to hone your flying skills much quicker.
Controlled airspace is right at our door. You are introduced to the controlled airspace element early in your training. This puts you in the same operational environment as the airlines.
The school is :
- very close to the long bitumen runways which reduces taxi time.
- located in the training area and therefore eliminates travel to and from the training area in the initial stages of your training. There are very few schools that can offer you this advantage. This of course saves time and money.
- Located close to a number of radio navigation aids that allows a greater number of approaches during each exercise. This is a very big advantage, especially during instrument training.
You will be operating in a professional environment that will prepare you for your first airline job.
Public transport is available near by with the Melbourne city centre only 40 mins.
Melbourne, a renowned multi-cultural city and home to over three and a half million people, was voted in 1992, as the world's `Most Livable City.' It is recognised as a competitive business and industrial base and is growing in importance as a crossroads on the trade route between the West and Asia. Attributes of Melbourne Include -
- a safe, clean, secure and friendly environment
- excellent shopping facilities
