Night VFR Rating

Feel like coming home after dark? What about a scenic night flight of Melbourne's CBD? With a Night VFR (Visual Flight Rules) Rating, you can!

Minimum requirements:

• 2 hours dual circuits
• 5 hours dual navigation
• 3 hours dual nav aid work
• Pass a flight test

The cost will vary depending on the choice of aircraft for the rating. As a guide, refer below;

• 5 hours dual Cessna 150  $1,110
• 5 hours dual Warrior        $1,310
• Flight test in Warrior       $750
• Total                            $3,170*
