Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) Theory Course

Duration is approximately 2 months full time - can be completed part-time

The CPL theory course comprises of seven subjects (Aerodynamics, Performance & Flight Planning, Aircraft Systems, Meteorology, Navigation, Human Factors and Air Law). The exams are an additional cost, for current exam costings go to our resources page and select Assessment Services Limited (ASL) website and click on exam charges.

Cost is $2,300 for all seven subjects or you can complete them individually;

Human Factors (CHUF) $300 (4 days) 

Meterology (CMET) $400 (5 days)

Aircraft Systems (CSYA) $400 (5 days)

Aerodynamics (CADA) $350 (4 days)

Navigation (CNAV) $350 (4 days)

Air Law (CLWA) $350 (4 days)

Performance & Flight Planning (CFPA) $400 (5 days)

* Please note that the duration of each subjects includes an assessment, revision and self study day. Exam time is not included in the course duration/
