Australian Air Force Cadets

The Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC) is a Federal Government funded youth organisation aimed at better equipping young people for community life by fostering initiative, leadership, discipline and loyalty through a training program designed to stimulate an interest in the Royal Australian Air Force.

TVSA is a supplier of flying training for all Victorian Squadrons of the Australian Air Force Cadets.  We have had a long association (since 1987) with the AAFC.

Many cadets have gone on to very successful Defence Force careers, mainly as RAAF pilots. To see the real thing, refer to some of our success stories/Alumni.

Flying camps for cadets are usually held in every school holiday break with smaller camps held mid-term.

Cadets receive the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities including bivouacs, spending time at military bases, shooting, exchange programs, military bands, ceremonial drills and flying theory whilst remaining a civilian.
